In the six-month JOBLINGE program, young people learn important social and job skills in group projects, receive guidance on their own strengths and suitable professions before gaining practical experience in JOBLINGE partner companies and examining their career choices.
\nJOBLINGE is usually commissioned by job centers and the Federal Employment Agency to support the young people – the actual length of stay is significantly shorter than the maximum supported length of stay.

The placement process at JOBLINGE is standardized throughout Germany. The participants, who come to JOBLINGE via the local employment agencies or job centers, work on a charitable project and thus “earn” their admission into the program. In the group, the young people renovate children’s homes, clean the city park or animal pens at the zoo or support charitable institutions. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The aim of the orientation phase is for the young people to find an occupational field that suits them and prepare for an apprenticeship in it.
\nIntensive discussions and reflection with JOBLINGE employees as well as taster days in companies help them find a career.
\nThe mentors also meet with “their” young people during this phase.

The employees and mentors remain contact persons for the participants and also for the company partners in the follow-up phase.

Despite integration courses and vocational preparation classes, many young refugees are unable to make the step into the job market on their own. In 2016, we developed the JOBLINGE Kompass program elements specifically for young refugees with work permits. Job-related language training, intercultural awareness and specially trained mentors are now part of the regular JOBLINGE concept, and in 2022 we launched the work4u program specifically for refugees from Ukraine. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
