<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My path was not very straightforward!<br \/>\nI first started an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician and then dropped out because it wasn&#8217;t what I wanted to do.<br \/>\nAfter a few part-time jobs, friends recommended JOBLINGE, where I felt very comfortable.<br \/>\nI really liked the whole concept!<br \/>\nDuring the interest and career test, event manager was at the top of my list.<br \/>\nThrough the fantastic colleagues at JOBLINGE, I was then introduced to Leipziger Messe, where I applied for an internship as an event manager.     <\/p>\n<p><strong>Exciting!<br \/>\nYou ended up doing your apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration at the trade fair. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My CV said that I had been tinkering with computers since I was 7 years old and that ultimately paved the way for me.<br \/>\nThe deputy head of the IT department sat in on the interview for the internship as an event manager.<br \/>\nHe asked me if I would like to take a look at the IT specialist apprenticeship.<br \/>\nThat was my entry into the profession: I never thought that this apprenticeship could be something for me &#8211; because of my poor grades!   <\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m still a computer scientist at the trade fair and graduated from vocational school with a 1.0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Has a childhood dream come true?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I actually wanted to be a computer scientist for a long time and was always passionate about IT.<br \/>\nBut I never thought that my grades would allow it and that this option would be open to me.<br \/>\nWhen I was offered the first opportunity through the IT internship, I grabbed it and made the best of it.<br \/>\nDuring the internship and the entry qualification, I showed what I could do and what I was capable of.<br \/>\nThen my school grades were no longer so important.    <\/p>\n<p>I am totally happy with how it went for me: I received fantastic support, both at the fair and at JOBLINGE.<br \/>\nThe combination of theory and practice in the dual apprenticeship means you grow into the job and learn practically straight away, which I liked. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you particularly enjoy about your job?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I like the many facets that IT activities entail!<br \/>\nThere are so many specialist disciplines, many of which are not necessarily so well known outside the industry.<br \/>\nIn my job, I try to find solutions and make the technology work.<br \/>\nBeing the interface between computers and people is fantastic: helping colleagues understand the problems or systems &#8211; and then being able to help yourself later!<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s an aha effect that makes me think: &#8220;I&#8217;ve done something right!&#8221;    <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rico M\u00fccke was already tinkering with computers as a child, but becoming a computer scientist with poor school grades?<br \/>\nHow our alumnus found his way to his dream job in a roundabout way.   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9359,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11167","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>JOBLINGE alumnus: Rico M\u00fccke - IT specialist for system integration | JOBLINGE<\/title>\n<meta name=\"robots\" content=\"index, follow, max-snippet:-1, max-image-preview:large, max-video-preview:-1\" \/>\n<link rel=\"canonical\" href=\"https:\/\/joblinge.de\/en\/joblinge-alumnus-rico-muecke-it-specialist-for-system-integration\/\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:locale\" content=\"en_US\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:type\" content=\"article\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:title\" content=\"JOBLINGE alumnus: Rico M\u00fccke - IT specialist for system integration | JOBLINGE\" \/>\n<meta property=\"og:description\" content=\"Rico M\u00fccke was already tinkering with computers as a child, but becoming a computer scientist with poor school grades?
