“Hey, I just got the call. I GOT THE TRAINING!!!”
At first glance, news stories like these seem to consist of just a few lines. But behind them often lie weeks or months of hard work.
Together with the young people, our teams searched for suitable apprenticeships, wrote and revised applications, prepared for job interviews, and established contacts with companies. We waited for feedback, followed up, and sometimes had to deal with rejections.
That makes the moment all the more special when the acceptance finally comes.
After all, a signed apprenticeship contract often means much more than just the start of a new career. It stands for perseverance, for newfound confidence, and for the feeling: “I did it.”
As we look ahead to the start of the 2026 training program, we are therefore delighted to receive each and every one of these messages—and to see all the young people who are now taking their next step. We are pleased to have been able to support them along the way.
And our support doesn’t have to end when the apprenticeship begins: At our basecamps, we continue to support apprentices throughout their training. After all, new challenges often arise in the first few months—at work, at vocational school, or in their personal lives. That’s exactly when it can be crucial to have a point of contact that offers support before a minor difficulty turns into a reason to drop out of the apprenticeship program.
Congratulations to everyone who is starting their training now—we wish you every success!
