Since 2008, we have been activating young people for apprenticeships , placing them in training and supporting them until they successfully complete their training. To do this, we combine the commitment of the economy, the state and private individuals. In this way, we create personal prospects and help reduce the skilled workers shortage. 80 percent of our participants make the leap into an apprenticeship.

Young people under the age of 34 are neither in school nor employed, in vocational training, or pursuing higher education. We conduct scientific research to identify the reasons behind this, determine how we can reach these young people, and tailor our work specifically to these findings.

all of the individuals we place in the workforce successfully complete the probationary period, which is particularly challenging for the JOBLINGE target group. To ensure this success continues through the end of their training, we offer support to all trainees through basecamp!

All participants in the JOBLINGE program successfully transition into an apprenticeship or a job. This is made possible through one-on-one mentoring, our close-knit business network, and the opportunity to prove themselves in a real-world setting.

PLAN A has pioneered a new approach to recruiting skilled workers. We demonstrate how to engage target groups that have been overlooked by job centers and employment agencies and help them transition into successful careers. JOBLINGE uses innovative methods to transform the transition from school to work.

What is said about us

The young people of today are the future of tomorrow. And this is precisely why we have been working with JOBLINGE for more than 15 years to support young people on their way into working life. In this way, we are jointly promoting social mobility in Germany.

What counts for us is impact. No one can hold a candle to JOBLINGE. Around 12 thousand successfully placed young people speak for themselves.

For us, JOBLINGE shows a unique potential to scale successful solutions for the labor market integration of refugees throughout Germany.

More than 5,000 young players dream of one thing: becoming a professional footballer. But what happens if a professional career doesn't work out? Vocational training is an important second pillar - with Steilpass, we support young footballers in their professional orientation, the search for an apprenticeship or the placement of internships.

There are many young people who, for very different reasons, have less favorable starting conditions for their professional lives than many of their peers. We cannot afford to leave these young people behind - we must and we want to open up opportunities and give them prospects. This is what makes initiatives like JOBLINGE so valuable.

Mining has always been a guarantor of equal opportunities and educational advancement in Germany. As a foundation, we have therefore also dedicated ourselves to preserving precisely these values in the Ruhr region. JOBLINGE has been a highly successful and sustainable provider of opportunities in the Ruhr region since it was founded, which is why we are at JOBLINGE's side as supporters and sponsors.

At the UVB, we see the challenges of our member companies with around 1 million employees every day: supporting innovative and effective approaches in business and social affairs is therefore essential for us.
