Engage, Connect, Support—take the leap toward an education with us!

Since 2008, we have been inspiring young people to pursue apprenticeships, placing them in training programs, and supporting them until they successfully complete their training. To achieve this, we bring together the efforts of the business community, the government, and private individuals. In this way, we create personal opportunities and help close the skilled labor gap. About 80 percent of our participants make the transition to an apprenticeship with our help.

With our tools, we create equal opportunities on the path to vocational training and throughout the program, all the way to successful completion. JOBLINGE is Germany’s leading social organization in the field of integration into the primary labor market.

Young people under the age of 34 are neither in school, nor working, nor in vocational training, nor pursuing a degree. We conduct scientific research to identify the reasons for this, determine how we can reach these young people, and tailor our work specifically to these findings.

All of the individuals we place in the workforce successfully complete the probationary period , which is particularly challenging for the JOBLINGE target group. To ensure this success continues through the end of their training, we offer support to all trainees through basecamp!

Innovative

2018

PLAN A has pioneered a new approach to recruiting skilled workers. We show how to engage target groups that have been overlooked by job centers and employment agencies and help them find successful careers. JOBLINGE uses innovative methods to bring about change in the transition from school to work.

What Others Say About Us

Today’s young people are the future. And that is exactly why we have been working with JOBLINGE for more than 15 years to support young people as they enter the workforce. Together, we are promoting social mobility in Germany.

For us, it’s all about impact. When it comes to that, JOBLINGE is in a league of its own. The fact that we’ve successfully placed around 12,000 young people speaks for itself.

We believe JOBLINGE has unique potential to scale successful solutions for the labor market integration of refugees throughout Germany.

More than 5,000 young players dream of one thing: becoming professional soccer players. But what if a professional career doesn’t work out? Vocational training is an important backup plan—with “Steilpass,” we support young soccer players with career guidance, helping them find an apprenticeship or arrange internships.

There are many young people who, for a variety of reasons, face less favorable starting conditions in their professional lives than many of their peers. We cannot afford to leave these young people behind—we must, and we want to, open up opportunities for them and give them a sense of hope for the future. That is what makes initiatives like JOBLINGE so valuable.

In Germany, the mining industry has always been a guarantor of equal opportunity and upward mobility through education. As a foundation, we are therefore committed to preserving precisely these values in the Ruhr region.
