2026 Charity Gala: An Evening Full of Energy, Commitment, and Momentum

More than 500 guests, an impressive theatrical performance, a bustling photo booth, and a tremendous amount of support for young people: At our benefit gala at the Gibson Club in Frankfurt, it became clear once again just how strong the network behind JOBLINGE is.

A kickoff with a clear message

The evening was opened by Manuela Strube, State Secretary at the Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth, and Social Affairs. She expressed special thanks to JOBLINGE’s staff, mentors, and volunteers for their dedication.

A violinist, accompanied by light effects and a shower of confetti, also provided a spectacular opening.

The stage belongs to the young people

One of the most emotional highlights of the evening was the theatrical performance “What Are We Waiting For?”

Participants in the JOBLINGE program took to the stage to share their personal experiences with a question that many young people can relate to: What does it feel like to wait for news, decisions, and opportunities—sometimes just a moment, sometimes months, or even years?

Under the artistic direction of theater educator Philipp Haines, a play was created about hope and stagnation, impatience, anticipation, and the time in between. Just how deeply the performance moved people behind the scenes became clear, if not before, then certainly when Philipp let out a huge cheer after the show.

Commitment Takes Many Forms

During the panel discussion, representatives from our partners Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Germany and J.P. Morgan, along with a former JOBLINGE participant and a long-time mentor, discussed what commitment actually means.

Her message really stuck with me: Do you always have to get something in return for your commitment—or can’t you just get involved because you want to do something good and give something back?

100,000 for 100,000

Our “100,000 for 100,000” campaign was also hard to miss that evening.

A packed photo booth and tons of support for our campaign: We’ve never taken as many photos of supporters as we did that evening.

And that’s exactly what this is all about: By 2030, we want to support 100,000 young people through our programs. To do that, we need people who share this goal, visibly support it, and stand up for it.

Thank you to everyone who did exactly that this evening—and filled “100,000 for 100,000” with so much energy.
