JOBLINGE Presents New Study on Youth Without Vocational Training
Frankfurt am Main, October 25, 2023. Many young people without vocational training remain in a state of limbo. They are unable to find their way into vocational training, further education, or employment. This most recently affected 630,000 people, as a study by the Bertelsmann Foundation on the NEET group (short for “not in employment, education, or training”) revealed. How can they be brought out of this “standby mode”? This study offers a scientifically grounded understanding of this target group. 1,500 Opportunities for a Self-Determined Future
Recklinghausen/Essen, November 30, 2021. The JOBLINGE initiative is celebrating its 1,500th participant in the Ruhr region: Nico Raabe. After graduating from high school, he initially went on to college, but after dropping out, he found himself unemployed. “I’ve actually always wanted to go into computer science—now I’m going to become an IT specialist,” says Nico with satisfaction. Essen, August 23, 2021. The “Stiftung – Dein Zuhause hilft” foundation, an initiative of the LEG Real Estate Group, provided JOBLINGE in the Ruhr region with 20,000 euros in 2020 to help mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 crisis on disadvantaged youth. Annual Reports

As a nonprofit initiative, JOBLINGE places great emphasis on transparency and is committed to providing clear reporting on its results and the use of funds to all participants, partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Since 2012, the JOBLINGE initiative has therefore published its annual and impact reports in accordance with the Social Reporting Standard. The report is published in German and English.
